instal windows dengan mengunakan usb flahdisk

step 1:
Siapkan USB Flash Drive (at least 2GB).
Ketika melakukan langkah ini, pastikan komputer/laptop mempunyai CD-ROM/DVD

step 2:
Download software pack (Komku-SP-usb.exe - Download) 1.47MB

Software pack ini berisi 3 aplikasi

-BootSect.exe (software untuk memanipulasi Boot Sector)
-PeToUSB (software untuk memformat dan flash drive menjadi bootable)
-usb_prep8 (software untuk mengkopi Windows XP dari optikal drive ke USB-Drive)

step 3:
Double click Komku-SP-usb.exe


Jendela windows akan seperti dibawah ini dan klik  Install

step 4:
Pasang USB Flash Drive.



Masuk ke direktori my computer:  folder C:\Komku\PeToUSB\
double click PeToUSB.exe



Jendela windows akan seperti dibawah ini

Drive tujuan : pilih USB Removable
beri tanda centang pada Enable Disk Format
beri tanda centang pada Quick Format
beri tanda centang pada Enable LBA (FAT 16x)
beri nama label drive/Drive Label : XP-KOMKU (bias menggunakan nama sesuai keinginan anda)
kemudian klik Start

Klik Yes untuk melanjutkan....



"You are about to repartition and format a disk. Disk: .... All existing volumes and data on that disk will be lost. Are You Sure You Want To Continue?"
klik Yes


tunggu beberapa detik

Klik OK, dan anda boleh menutup jendela  PeToUSB


step 5:
buka  Command Prompt ...
Click Start > Run > type cmd > click OK

Pada Command Prompt window, masuklah ke direktori C:\Komku\bootsect\
caranya:
ketikan cd\ lalu tekan enter

lalu ketikan cd komku\bootsect dan tekan enter

hasilnya seperti berikut

Jangan menutup jendela Command Prompt, lalu lanjutkan ke step 6...

step 6:
pada command prompt, ketik bootsect /nt52 H:

H: nama drive H adalah USB Flash Drive yang terpasang di komputer ini, dan bisa berbeda untuk computer lainnya

lalu tekan enter
Hasilnya... "Successfully updated filesystem bootcode. Bootcode was succesfully updated on all targeted volumes."

Jangan tutup Command Prompt window, lanjutkan ke step 7...

step 7:
sekarang ketikan cd.. lalu tekan Enter


kemudian ketikan cd usb_prep8 lalu tekan Enter

ketika usb_prep8 sekali lagi... lalu tekan Enter


step 8:
Jendela command prompt anda akan terlihat seperti ini..

tekan sembarang tombol untuk melanjutkan...
usb_prep8 welcome screen akan terlihat seperti berikut

Prepares Windows XP LocalSource for Copy to USB-Drive:

0) Change Type of USB-Drive, currently [USB-stick]
1) Change XP Setup Source Path, currently []
2) Change Virtual TempDrive, currently [T:]
3) Change Target USB-Drive Letter, currently []
4) Make New Tempimage with XP LocalSource and Copy to USB-Drive
5) Use Existing Tempimage with XP LocalSource and Copy to USB-Drive
F) Change Log File - Simple OR Extended, currently [Simple]
Q) Quit

Enter your choice:_

Sekarang masukan CD Windows XP, or Windows XP with sata ahci driver ke CD/DVD ROM
dan kembali ke jendela Command Prompt

Ketik 1 lalu tekan Enter...
Cari direktori dimana windows XP berada di CD/DVD room lalu klik OK

hasilnya seperti jendela di atas ("XP Setup Source Path" changed to G:\ (bisa berbeda untuk tiap komputer)


sekarang untuk langkah 2, jika tertulis “T” adalah nama drive pada komputer anda.. anda bisa menggantinya. Jika tidak biarkan saja namanya sesuai drive tersebut

Jika ingin merubahnya ketik 2 dan tekan Enter...

"Enter Available Virtual DriveLetter"
sebagai contoh anda tidak mempunyai drive “S”
anda bisa mengetikan S lalu tekan Enter

kembali ke  usb_prep8 welcome screen...
ketik angka 3 lalu tekan Enter...

"Please give Target USB-Drive Letter e.g ketikan U" Enter Target USB-Drive Letter:
karena drive yang dipakai pada proses ini H

Lalu ketik H dan tekan Enter...

setelah kembali ke usb_prep8 welcome screen...
lalu ketik 4 dan tekan Enter, untuk membuat  new temporary image with XP LocalSource dan mengkopinya ke USB Flash Drive
tunggulah beberapa detik…..


"WARNING, ALL DATA ON NON-REMOVABLE DISK DRIVE T: WILL BE LOST! Proceed with Format (Y/N)?"
Ketik Y lalu tekan enter Enter
please wait....
ketika virtual drive selesai, ketikan sembarang tombol untuk melanjutkan…..


please wait... making of LocalSource folder is in progress...


when "Making of LocalSource folder $WIN_NT$.~LS Ready"
Press any key to continue...



"Copy TempDrive Files to USB-Drive in about 15 minutes = Yes OR STOP = End Program = No"
Click Yes, and wait...


"Would you like USB-stick to be preferred Boot Drive U: bla... bla..."
Click Yes



"Would you like to unmount the Virtual Drive ?"
Click Yes, wait a few seconds, and press any key....
press any key again to close usb_prep8...

Sekarang USB Flash Drive sudah siap untuk instalasi…….

step 9:
Now, insert your USB Flash Drive/Flash Disk/Thumb Drive to your notebook (e.g Acer Aspire One)
go to BIOS and make USB HDD (or USB ZIP in some other machine) as primary boot device....
then boot form your USB Flash Drive....
and select "TXT Mode Setup Windows XP, Never unplug USB-Drive Until After Logon"

After Hard Disk detected, delete all partition, create single partition... and install Windows XP on that partition... and wait...

once text mode setup is complete, computer will restart....
this time select "GUI Mode setup Windows XP, Continue Setup + Start XP"


Continue Windows XP setup.... and Done! Windows XP Installed....
